Hi, I'm Jayden! A curator of many talents who enjoys ​connecting with audiences from a variety of backgrounds.
As a freelance percussionist, I have decades of experience performing in countless genres and styles including rock, pop and top 40's; combo and big band jazz; orchestral, symphonic, and choral; musical theatre and opera; military, marching band, and drumline; latin and world musics; and as a soloist.

I offer engaging, personalized music and photography lessons for students of all ages and abilities. With a focus on confidence, growth, and enjoyment, I build a supportive learning environment that connects your goals to everyday life.

​From capturing the energy of live concerts to producing polished studio recordings, my audio recordings combine professional expertise and artistic sensitivity to create comfortable and dynamic recording experiences.
My arrangements cover music from a wide range of styles with a specialty of adapting popular songs into clear, practical lead sheets.

I specialize in photographing concerts and events, but am also at home shooting sports, headshots, portraits, products, and weddings.  My work has been included in marketing for clients such as Sennheiser microphones, Attack Drumheads, EnergyOne, and my images have appeared as part of CBC's 30 Under 30 series.

In 2024 I authored Cycling From Sea to Sea: One Hundred Days Across Canada, a travel memoire which reached Amazon.ca's #1 most gifted book and #2 in overall sales under "Outdoors and Recreation - Cycling" in addition to charting #14 under "Canadian Travel" during the 2024 holiday season.

Based in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada, and available worldwide, I enjoy travelling to play music, take photos, and for leisure.  I enjoy rock climbing, riding my bicycle, and finding the hidden connections between things which are seemingly unrelated.
